The Pub
Four centuries of good company
The Woodman has stood on the lane through Fernham since the middle of the seventeenth century. Step inside and you will find everything a proper country pub should have: low black beams, thick whitewashed walls, well-worn oak tables, shelves of old books and an inglenook fireplace that has warmed travellers for generations.
We serve a changing selection of cask ales alongside a well-stocked bar, and our kitchen cooks everything freshly to order using produce from trusted local farms across the Cotswolds and the South West. Whether you are here for a pint after a walk on the Ridgeway, a long Sunday lunch with the family or Tuesday steak night with friends, you will always find a warm welcome.
