The Woodman is a family-run business. Between us, we bring experience of many decades working in numerous different hospitality venues in the UK and abroad. From fine-dining establishments in London's West End, hotels in the north of England to grill restaurants, nightclubs and cafés, we've acquired a love of the pleasures to be had by eating and drinking well in a convivial atmosphere.

That's what we hope we bring to The Woodman. We're always striving to improve our standards and share the fruits of our passion for great hospitality.

Whilst "fresh, local and seasonal" has become something of a restaurant cliché in recent years, nonetheless it is at the heart of what we aim to produce at The Woodman. The quality of ingredients, to a large extent, determines the end result. Add in a dash of imagination and you can create something delectable, delightful and delicious!
